The reports housed here provide a snapshot of how Virginia protects children and vulnerable adults, supports families, and strengthens safety nets across communities. They cover child and adult protective services, adoption and foster care, grants that stabilize families, and services for those affected by domestic violence.

Adult-focused reports highlight protections and supports for older adults and adults with disabilities, including home‑based services and the Auxiliary Grant program. Beginning in SFY 2022, these programs transitioned to the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services, though services continue through local departments.
